Vendor Permissions in Shipturtle:

Steps: Settings>Multivendor Settings>Shipping Settings.

Allow vendors to add their shipping partners

Gives vendors the right to add their shipping partners.

Allow vendors to generate shipping labels

Gives vendors the right to generate and cancel shipping labels.

Allow vendors to change order warehouse

Gives vendors the right to change/select the warehouse of their choice.

Allow vendors to change order shipment status

Gives vendors the right to change/select order shipment status.

Allow vendors to edit order package dimensions

Gives vendors the right to edit order package dimensions.

Set Default Label Size for All Vendors

The default label size for all vendors is A4. To change this, go to Settings > Merchant Profile > Shipping Label Settings. Click [here] to change.

Add Warehouse

When you install Shipturtle, it will automatically import "Locations" from Shopify as warehouses.

To add a new warehouse, go to Settings -> Warehouses -> Add new. To edit an existing one, go to Settings -> Warehouses -> Edit.

You can add as many warehouses as you need and set the most frequently used one as your default.

In multi-vendor marketplaces, assign warehouses to vendors. Vendor orders can only be processed from their assigned warehouses.

Add Dimensions

When adding package dimensions for shipping, there are two main methods:

1. Bulk Assign Package Dimensions: This method involves assigning package dimensions to multiple products at once.

2. Add Dimensions from Product Settings: This method involves adding dimension details directly in the product settings, so the package dimensions are automatically updated whenever an order is received.

Let’s discuss both methods step by step.

1) Bulk Assign Package Dimensions

This method is useful when an order consists of multiple products, making it difficult for the app to calculate the combined dimensions.

Adding Package Dimensions

1. Go to Settings -> Shipping Partners -> Shipping Label Settings -> Create Default Package Dimensions for Shipping.

2. Click on the (+) icon to create default package dimensions and fill in the required details. You can create multiple package dimensions as needed.

Select Package Dimensions

1. Once you have created the package dimensions, you can bulk assign them to orders.

2. Go to New Orders -> Select Orders (tick the ones you need) -> Actions -> Bulk Assign Package Dimensions.

2)Add Product Dimensions from Product Settings

This method is useful when an order consists of a single product, allowing the app to automatically pick up the product dimensions from the product details.

1. Add Product Dimensions Manually:

  • Go to Products> Add the dimensions for each product.

2. Bulk Add Product Dimensions:

  • Download all products.

  • Add the dimension details to the file.

  • Re-upload the file with the updated dimensions.

When you receive an order for the product, the package dimensions will be updated automatically.
